Sport StadiaNet receives a PPP-Job in Siegburg
The contract between the City of Siegburg, represented by the mayor Franz Huhn and Sport StadiaNet, represented by Dipl. Ing. Peter Praum was signed in the City Hall on March 25, 2010.
The City of Siegburg signed the contract for planning, construction and financing of a new multi-functional sports hall as well as the extension of the High School and the construction of small playing fields. The 9,65 million Euro contract is an "Cowner model" based on a Public Private Partnership.
The start of construction works will take place this year. The construction time including planning is estimated to be 18 months. The completion is scheduled for the end of 2011.
The new construction of the multi-functional sports hall is designed according to the newest energetic principles, low energy standard, power supply over geothermic and photovoltaic systems. The maturity of the financing is 20 years. With the acceptance of work the city agrees to make 40 half year payments. Large joy prevails at the school administration over the extension of the High School. Probably 20 additional class rooms will be added. This measure is urgently necessary.
